Non-Profits
WECA is a statewide, nonprofit organization that advances positive change for children by focusing on the professionals
who provide child care for well over 74% of Wisconsin’s youngest children. WECA exists to support the well-being of the early education workforce by investing in programs and policies that improve teacher retention, enhance the education level of ECE professionals and increase wages for the ECE workforce. Additionally, WECA administers the Wisconsin Early Education Shared Services Network (WEESSN), a program that is helping to stabilize the system of care by leveraging shared staffing, resources, and expertise among a connected group of child care programs across the state.
Our Impact
Through key programs, research and advocacy, WECA’s work impacts the lives of the more than 25,000 ECE professionals across the state. WECA also works alongside business and community leaders and parents to create a more sustainable model for ECE and child care programs across Wisconsin. A member-based non-profit organization, WECA currently has more than 1,200 members.

My specialty is family photography. Being a mom myself I understand kids & how to interact with them. I know how to put them at ease & how important it is to have patience with them during a photo session. I’m more than happy to work with family schedules & plan shoots around nap time.
